A query is any read from a LaserData namespace, including point reads, filtered scans, and multi-step joins. Writes do not count toward the query limit. A streaming subscription uses one query when the connection starts, not one query for each event.

After 1M queries in a Free billing cycle, subsequent reads return a 429 rate-limit response until the next billing cycle begins. You can upgrade to Growth at any time to remove the limit immediately, without losing stored data or namespace configuration.

Storage billing uses uncompressed logical size. LaserData compresses data at rest, but your plan limit is measured against the logical size before compression. Deleted documents leave billing within 24 hours.

Free is permanent, not a trial, so you can build and test on it indefinitely. To evaluate Growth or Scale, email [email protected] to arrange 14-day access.

Growth provides read replicas in a second region of your choice. Replication is asynchronous, with typical lag under 100ms. Synchronous writes across regions are available only on Enterprise.

Query limits apply account-wide, not per namespace. The usage dashboard shows a per-namespace breakdown. On Growth and Scale, namespace-level quota reporting helps identify chatty agent sessions before they exhaust the account budget.
